Open position: Senior research engineer in mass spectrometry-based proteomics

The Mateus lab is a newly established lab in proteomics at Umeå University, in connection with MIMS. The lab is looking for a senior research engineer with experience in mass spectrometry to manage and develop methods on newly acquired mass spectrometer.

Apply before 30 December 2021!

The Mateus lab is interested in understanding how proteins function in the species of the human gut microbiome. Our goal is to use drugs to modulate the human gut microbiome to promote a healthy state. They use proteomics and other systems biology approaches.
