Two-year postdoc opportunity up for grabs in the Urban lab at Umeå University, Department of Clinical Microbiology
Project: We are an internationally leading research group interested in innate immunity in bacterial and fungal infections. The current project aims at elucidating fundamental cellular mechanisms in neutrophils which regulate metal ion fluxes and how these processes contribute to antimicrobial activities of these phagocytes. We use sophisticated methodologies such as high-resolution X-ray fluorescence, spinning disk microscopy, ICP mass spectrometry, and whole genome transcriptional profiling using RNA-Seq.
Come and join a motivated and energetic team in the beautiful North of Sweden! Continue reading for more details about this opportunity.
